Arizona sprinter Hockersmith is debut NSGA Athlete of the Month

The National Senior Games Association has rolled out an online newsletter, which is long overdue — and might even make some money. (See it here.) It also is sent as an email blast, which you can sign up for. “The NSGA is excited to announce their new email newsletter, The Game Plan,” says the first issue. “We’re automatically sending it to any emails we had for 2009 Summer National Senior Games competitors. If you’d like to be added to our email list, please fill out the sign up information on the right of this page.” Special recognition went to M50 sprinter David Hockersmith, named “our inaugural athlete of the month for his strong sprint performances at the Arizona Senior Olympics, which were held in Phoenix, Feb. 20-Mar. 14.” Congratulations, David, and best of luck to everyone preparing for the 2011 National Senior Olympic in Houston.
