China bows to Asia Masters Athletics, allows big meet in Taiwan
China and Taiwan
has been chosen to host the next Asia Masters Athletics Championships. This is big. The decision was made Dec. 8 at the Asia Masters General Assembly at the
Cititel Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Why big? A masters mole writes: “Taiwan was selected to hold the next AMA championships. They last held it in 1988 before mainland China began participating. They have offered to hold it since, but China has always objected and they withdrew.” Could this be a sign of detente in the Far East? Someone inform

news report: “India too made a bid for the 2012 championship but withdrew in favor of Chinese Taipei. The 17th AMA Championship will be held from November 7 to 12, 2012, in Taipei.”

what is the stetas of registration for 17th Asia masters athletic championship. coz. u can’t uplode any think of ur site.
Why so slow ? The Asian Masters Athletics Championship Records have not been updated as yet and the 17th championship is so near. This has to be done at the earliest for the benefit of the Athletes.No registration Status is available as yet as only Twenty Days are left for the said championship.

There are many countries which do not keep even the records of Masters athletics events of their own country, how can we expect from them that they will be sending their Age Group records to the Asian Masters Athletics Association for publication and that is why it becomes all the more important to publish Asian Masters Athletics Championship records where all the Asian countries come and participate.So along with Asian Masters athletics age group records There should also be Asian Masters Athletics Championship records which i am sure will benefit the athletes for their participation in such championships.
