This may be a huge shot in the dark but I am looking for a sprint/jump coach in the minneapolis, mn area that would like to take on a not so young (but up and comming) student. If there is anyone in the area that would like to talk about this PLEASE let me know. Thanks.

Back on April 15th, I posted a request for recommendations on where to find a javelin coach in the Nebraska-Iowa region. I did not get any responses to my post, so I took it upon myself to contact the throws coaches at several nearby universities and colleges. I did hear back from a Big Ten coach and a MVC coach who both offered to work with me. However, because of their commitments to their college programs, they would not have any availability until late May, which is fine with me as most masters events don't begin until June. As such, I would highly recommend contacting local/regional coaches. Most are very nice and would welcome the chance to do some "off-season" coaching. Good luck!

My pleasure. Tentatively planning to compete at the Minnesota USATF Open & Masters Track & Field Championships on June 7th at Hamline University. Perhaps we'll run in to each other. Again, good luck with the "coach search".

I'm a sprinter from the Twin Cities and entered in the 200 and 400 on Sunday. I can give you the names of a few coaches.
