I intend to cross train for the next three weeks, then get ready for the indoor season. Would anyone care to give me any advice as to types of cross training to do for this preparation phase. :P

The Concept 2 rower - most gyms have one, and it is hard enough that most people avoid it. It's low impact, uses total body, dorsiflexion, and hip flexion. You can do aerobic or anaerobic workouts.
I do workouts with intervals of various distances 250/500/1000/2000meters.

I will do the stationary bike a few days a week, or sometimes throw in a treadmill workout where I would do sprints. If I am travelling, and if there is a gym, I will do ellipcal machine.

I find it benefical to do other than run all the time as a workout.
