I seen a post on another running group about them talking about canned oxygen. has anybody tried it?? or does any know anybody that tried it.
does it really work or like the king talked about canned oxygen in Spaceballs the movie it's just a fad.

Breathing concentrated oxygen, either from a can or from a tank, has never been shown to improve recovery times. Many studies...no evidence.

At sea level, hemoglobin is nearly fully saturated in most people, even during maximal exercise. If anything, canned oxygen will hurt performance— induced by hyperventilation caused by paying $3 for a can of air.
