Got therapy today and wife told me to call the Ortho and see she what they say. Took and
x-ray that probably showed nothing and then talked about an MRI to rule out any evulsion fracture and muscle tears. Guess I'm done with legs for a while. Hope to find some way to get a workout done....upper body and core.

Did Chest and Back tonight with a Core ABs circuit thrown into the mix.

Bench Press 10x135, 150, 165, 180, 195, 210 on the minute. Last set was very difficult.
Lat Pulls 10x90, 105, 120, 135,5x150 on the minute. Stopped after the last set of four.
Core ABs Circuit 30 reps of Crunches, Bicycles, Leg Lifts, Windshield Wipers, Plank for 30 seconds.

Worked hard again in a short time. No rest on the ABs Circuit.

Can't ride the Bike so I went to the gym and did the following:

Bench Press 4x25x135 on the 2 minute mark....last set was very hard.
Machine Flys 4x10x105 with 30 seconds rest.
PTA DB Incline Press 25x35s.....made it to 18 before I failed, took 10 seconds rest and barely made the last 7 reps.

Overall, a good workout in a very short period of time. Had a major pump going at the end.

Leg is feeling somewhat better. PT says that I can get back to the Bike but only spinning workouts. NO Time Trials or heavy riding to start. Stretch afterwards and ice. Basically enough to get a sweat going and see how the leg feels.

Today I did Back and Coe ABs at the gym:

Lat Pulls 4x25x90 on the 2 minute mark. Last set was really hard.
Seated Cable Rows 4x10x120 with 30 seconds rest. Could have gone heavier.
Core AB Circuit 30 reps of Crunches, Leg Scissors, Bicycles, Wipers, and 30 second Plank.

Good work in a short time. Felt good to get a sweat going. See how the Bike goes tomorrow.

Got back to the Bike tonight for 6.6 miles. Basically just a good spinning workout. Leg felt pretty good during the ride and did some light stretches afterwards, then ice. PTs used some Physio Tape on my leg. Didn't know if it would work.....but I feel pretty good with it. See how tomorrow goes. Want to get another easy ride done.

9.4 miles on the Bike tonight. Leg felt good so I added a couple of extra miles...still felt good. Finished with some light stretches and some ice. Started losing what I gained in weight the last week or so. Down a half pound....would be nice to lose a half pound a day....lol.

Good day.

Hit another 11 miles on the Bike tonight. Leg felt good. Did a few long tempo rides of 2-3 minutes and felt strong. Leg held together. Lost another pound today so 220 is back in sight. Hope to up the mileage this week if the leg holds up.

Hit the Bike for 10.6 miles in a very strong ride. Tempo was strong through out the ride. Kept It in the same gear all the way. Kept the tempo strong and felt really good afterwards.
The only bad thing today was I gained 2 pounds from yesterday. Don't know why as I ate well and drank lots of water. Hopefully it's temporary.

Did 18.5 miles on the Bike this afternoon before family shows up for the next two weeks. Hope I can find time to train. Weight was good this AM. Burned a bunch of calories on the ride. See if this helps the weight loss. Legs feel great. This was my longest ride to date. Good tempo and steady into the wind. Legs are getting stronger. Now lose the weight and I'll be ready to go....lol.

1st half of family left today which gave me a chance to hit the Bike for 11 miles. Felt good. Wanted to go farther, but we have company for dinner....lol. Weight keeps coming down.

Before the 2nd half of the family gets here, I rode a solid 20.7 miles on the Bike today. That's the most to date since I started this journey. Don't know how much training I will get done with family here. Weight is also coming down...for now. I feel good. Legs are getting stronger and knees are still good with the extra miles.

Yesterday, I rode a solid 22.9 miles on the Bike. Felt pretty good but got a bit hungry towards the end. They say if you start feeling hungry it's already too late. I've got to monitor what and how I eat if I'm going to put in the extra miles.

Today, I went for a very relaxed 6.5 miles on the Bike. Body was very tired from the last two days of heavy riding ..... for me. Still want to put the miles in as it helps with the weight loss and the legs feel really good. Hopefully I can loss a few more pounds and start with some drill work.
