Went to the gym tonight and tried to get back to where I left off.

Bench Press 7x10x170 on the 1:15 mark. Did all sets on time. Felt good.
Lat Pulls 7x10x110 on the 1:15 mark Did all sets on time.

Overall, a good workout. Felt good to get back to training.

Rode 12.6 miles this morning and did a Core AB workout this afternoon. Legs and body feels pretty good after three days of riding. Tomorrow will be a Leg Day, no riding.

Yesterday was a rest day, today I played some decent golf and went to the gym and did Legs.

Leg Press 7x10x275 on th 1:15 mark. Felt pretty good through the whole workout. Will up the weight next week before I go to Hawaii for 10 days. Will do a lot of walking and scheduled a couple of hikes.......hope the knees can handle it.....lol.

Saturday's workout was 9.7 miles on the Bike. Hit a couple of good marks while riding. Great tempo on the ride. Felt really strong.

Rode the Bike for 10.7 miles and again hit a couple of PRs along the way. Strong tempo and felt very good. Tonight I went to the gym and did Chest and Back.

Bench Press 8x5x210 on the minute. 1 set AMAP for 10 reps.
Lat Pulls 8x5x135 on the minute. 1 set AMAP for 10 reps.

Overall, a very good workout. The last set was a killer on both exercises. Could not have done one more rep. Good test week.

Did Legs tonight.

Leg Press 4x12x255, 4x12x225. Did both sets Tabata Style. 20 seconds on with 10 seconds rest. Took about 1 minute rest between sets. Very quick workout but Legs were shot in about 5 minutes. Legs were shaky and Hammies were weak. Good workout. Now on to Hawaii for 9 days.

Tony,

Thanks. Trying to stay strong. Knees are starting to bother me again. Don't know if I want to keep getting the stem cell injections or get them replaced........tough choice. But will keep working out trying to get back to my youth.....lol. If I didn't beat myself up so much the injections would work. Working out the way I do keeps braking them down after a few months.

Have been walking several miles a day here in Hawaii. Found a gym at our hotel that's really pretty good, so today I did several things to break a great sweat.

Bench Press 4x10x135 Tabata Style. Used Free Weights. Different feel
Dead Lifts. 4x10x135 Tabata Style. Used Free Weights.

Good lifts in a short time. HR was through the roof after the DLs. Found a Spin Bike for 30 minutes and about 8 miles. Great workout. Big time sweat going after WO. Felt really good to blow off some of the many great meals I've had the last few days. Hope I can get a couple of more workouts while I'm here.

This mornings workout was 20 minutes on the Spin Bike followed by 10 minutes on the Rowing Machine. Tonight's workout was Bench Press 4x10x155 with 30 seconds rest. Used free weights Good work. Dead Lifts 4x10x155 with 30 seconds rest. Good lifts. Today was a good day. Ate better today also

Back in Florida Today I hit the Bike for 10.7 miles in a good tempo. Felt strong and easy. Hope to get a Lift in tomorrow and a short ride. Contemplating driving North for Christmas. After that it will be all work......lol.

Played golf yesterday Today I went to the gym and did the following:
Bench Press 30x165
Lat Pulls 30x105
Leg Press 30x245
Seated DB Press 30x30s
Machine DLs 30x200
Core ABs 30 reps

Very little rest between sets. Very stressful workout. HR was up there after each set. Today was a good day in the gym.

Yesterday was a steady 12 miles on the Bike and today was an easy 6.4. Just enough today to squeeze in dessert........lol.

This morning I played really great Golf........for me. Shot an 83. My best score since my 20s. The bad part was I pulled my Hammy a bit while swinging the club so hard.......lol. Legs a little stiff and sore.

This afternoon I hit the gym and did the following:
Incline DB Press 40
Lat Pulls 105
Machine ABs
Did sets as a Tri-set with about 30 seconds rest between sets for 21, 18, 16, 14, 12, 9 reps. Wasn't a very long workout but tough. Could have used 45s on the Inclne DB Press. The Lat Pulls were just about right and the AB machine could have gone hig her also. Overall a very good workout.

Yesterday I tried to play golf. Leg was a bit tender and bothered me several times. Have been icing and message.

Today, I went to the gym and did a Chest Workout:

Bench Press 10x135 then on the minute 5x150, 165, 180, 195, 210, 225, 240, 255, 10x195.

Pretty good workout. Wanted to test my strength limits and I think I did. Good day in the gym.
