Thanks guys. It's depressing thinking about my current times used to be warm-up times.

Played golf this AM and this evening I put 15.1 miles in on the Bike. The tempo was strong and my knees felt better...but not great. Weight is holding steady at 220-221, that part's good.

On Monday, I went to my Dr. in Miami for another injection in my knee. Feels pretty good today. Rested yesterday.

Today, I rode for 14.3 miles on the Bike in the morning. Hit several PRs on the ride. This afternoon, I went to the gym and did the following:
Bench Press 20x135, 15x150, 12x165, 10x180, 8x190
Incline DB Press 4x12x40s
Core AB work

Overall, a good day. Weight is holding steady. Haven't broke 220 yet, but will keep trying to get there.

Hit a Milestone today, I broke 220 this AM, Checking in at 219 even. Felt good about that as I was hanging on 221 for three days.

Today, I went to the gym and did the following:

Lat Pulls 20x90, 15x100, 12x110, 10x120 started to get hard, 8x130 very hard
Seated Cable Rows 4x10x120 this was too light.
Core ABs

Came home and jumped on the Bike for 11.3 miles. Legs felt good and I had lots of power even into the wind. Good day of training to follow up on yesterday's. Hope I can continue in some form as Football practice starts at 7 AM on Monday for two weeks. Lifting should be no problem, but the Bike may suffer a bit....we'll see how it goes.

Played golf this AM and went for an easy 8.7 mile ride on the Bike this afternoon. Good day. Weight held steady at 219 this morning , so progress is being made. When I get to 215, then I think I will add some running drills to the program. See how that goes.

Thunder, lightning, and rain here, so no Bike today. Went to the gym and did Legs:

Leg Press 25x200, 20x225, 15x245, 12x265, 10x285, 8x305
DB RDLs 4x10x25x
Core ABs

Played golf this morning, and the lift tonight was all I did. Haven't done Legs in a while, so that was good. Weight is holding steady at 219. Next goal is 215. Hope to get there soon,

Heavy, Heavy, Heavy Rain in sunny SW FL today. Went to the gym and did the following:

Lat Pulls and Bench Press were Super-Setted on the 2 minute mark.
Lat Pulls 10x90, 15, 15, 12, 12, 10, 10, 8, 8 x 105.
Bench Press 10x135, 15, 15, 12, 12, 10, 10, 8 ,8 x150
Core Abs

Lat Pulls got to be very heavy at the end. Bench Press could have been heavier. Overall, a very taxing workout in such a short time. Worked up a major sweat and the HR was high. Good day at the office.

Finally, I was able to get back on the Bike for 16.1 miles in 61+ minutes. Had good tempo during the ride. Body feel OK after two days of football practice. Tomorrow will be practice and maybe some golf in the afternoon. Pretty much a rest day from the weights and Bike. Thursday, I hope to get back to the Bike with maybe a Lift at night. Weight is up a little and I think it's just from not riding. Still in a good range though...221.

Played Golf on Wednesday and took Thursday off. Practice is sucking my energy away.

Today, I went to the gym and did the following:

Recumbent Bike for 30 minutes. Did 7.75 miles. The gym got very Hot in a half hour...lol.
Lat Pulls and Bench Press were Super Setted, with one minute rest between sets.
Lat Pulls 30x90, 20x110, 15x110. Last set got very difficult
Bench Press 30x135, 20x150, 15x165. Again, the last set was very hard.

Overall, a very good workout. Will try the Bike 1st thing in the morning tomorrow before the heat sets totally in and makes it very HOT to ride. Weight is holding steady.

Rode in and out of showers today for 9.5 miles. Easy tempo as the roads were a little wet. Back Is now bothering me as is the right knee. Have been stretching a lot the last few days and will try to maintain that part to try and get my body in tune with all that I'm doing.

Went to the gym and did the following:
Lat Pulls 3x20x90
Seated Rows 3x15x110
DB RDLs 3x10x25s
Core ABs
Took a brake and went back and did 30 minutes on the Recumbent Bike for 8.1 miles with several accelerations of 1 minute.
Overall, a good day. Weight has been creeping up lately and I don't no why. For the most part, I have been good at what I've been eating. I guess I can't take so many days off.

Yesterday was a rest day. Today, we had two practices and they have been working on our streets in my development so I have not been able to ride. I went to the gym and did Legs and Chest:

All lifts were 1 second to lift and 2 seconds to lower. Very controlled lifting.

Leg Press 30x200, 20x225, 15x250, 10x275. Legs were a bit shaky towards the end and cramping.
Bench Press 30x135, 20x150, 16x165. Very difficult, had to break up the last set to 10 and 5.
Incline DB Press 4x8x35s Last set was hard.
Core ABs

Wanted to get some cardio done but was tired from practice and lifting. See what tomorrow brings.

Did a 20 minute Spin on the Stationary Bike at the gym. Got bored not going anywhere. Roads are still a mess. Did Bi's and Tri's after the spin. Got some god arm work.

Machine Bicep Curls 3x20x40
Tri Ext 3x20x60
Arms were really pumped. Will try to figure out a ride tomorrow.

Roads were better today, but still had to go in and out of paving areas. Rode 11.5 miles in a steady tempo. Felt good to get out and moving. Knees feel pretty good and the weight is holding at 222. Can't seem to get back under 220, but it will come. Have added a good bit of stretching and that has helped my lower back. It's tough getting old....not for the young...they couldn't handle it...lol.

Fidel,

Are you running any more this summer or just back to training? You have come such a long way in your recovery. Don't be so hard on yourself. Things will come back for you.
