Fidel, Sorry about your injury. Hope it'e nothing too bad to keep you out too much longer.

Tony, Will check out those sites for info. When I was younger, I used to know all the meets, times, and places. Now I'm starting over and trying to figure out what's next.

Yesterday was a bust. Toooo many errands and then our golf banquet....tooo many beers...lol.

Today I went to the gym and did the following:
Bench and Lat Puls were supersetted.
Bench 15x135, 2x15x180, 20x180
Lat Pulls 15x90, 2x15x120, 20x120

Incline DB Press 3x12x45s
One Arm DB ROws 3x10x45

With my surgery on Thursday, I just wanted to get some sets and reps and work up a good sweat....and rid the body of alcohol...lol. Felt good after the workout. Tomorrow I'm hoping to get a ride in and get my legs done as I haven't done legs for almost 2 weeks. See how I feel.

Last workout before surgery for my hernia. Again, I just wanted to get some time in and work up a sweat. Rode the Recumbant Bike (it was raining here in sunny SW FL) for 20 minutes. Logged 5.4 miles at varying tempos with 6x30 second bursts.
Finished with the Leg Press 3x15x275.
Felt pretty good today. See how the next few days turn out. Hopefully I will be able to walk as last year.

Update: The surgery went well. That's the good news. The bad news is I am really sore and swollen, black and blue, and have difficulty walking , sitting, laying down. Right now I don't see myself walking as much as I did with the prostate surgery. Hopefully, in a couple of days I can start my recovery. Right now it's bags of peas and ice packs.....lol.

It's a goal of mine to compete at indoor nationals. Glad the surgery went well and hope you recover quickly. Time heals all wounds.

Thanks Fidel. I'm still very sore and swollen. Still using alot of ice. Not walking as much as I want to walk but giving myself some time to heal. See the Dr. on Friday. Hopefully he will give me the OK to start to walk. Weight is holding for now. Getting a little antzy. Pain is my guide right now....still have alot of it.

Still here Fidel. Went to the Drs. yesterday and got the ok to start walking and riding the Recumbant Bike. Can start with the Road Bike when all the pain is gone. Have made alot of progress, pain wise , in the last couple of days. Will try some walking today and see how it goes......maybe the Recumbant Bike tomorrow. See how it goes. Thanks for checking in on me. It's still a journey.

Been reading posts for an hour. Can't find what happened.....hope it wasn't your achilles again or hamstring tear that needed surgery.
