Today was PT in the morning and a Bike ride in the afternoon. Rode a steady 11.3 miles. Felt good. The leg is feeling much better as long as I don't do something stupid and reinjure it.

Rode 7.7 miles on the Bike for a steady ride. Felt a little weak as my wife and I started Atkins this week and I felt like I didn't eat enough.

Tonight I went to the gym and did the following:

Incline DB Bench Press @ 40s
Seated Cable Rows @ 150
Reps were 20, 16, 14, 12, 10, 8 with 30 seconds rest between sets. Last set got difficult.
Single Leg Press 3x10x105
DB RDLs 3x10x15s

Overall, a good workout day.

Good solid ride with the Boys today for 12.5 miles. Leg was a bit tired afterwards. Short ride tomorrow if the weather holds up and a Lift.

Rode a solid 10.7 miles with 4 accelerations of 90 seconds to two minutes. Got speed up to 22 mph and held it there. Legs felt good afterwards. Got some yoga, PT on the leg, and a good stretch done after the ride. Feel pretty good. Weight is coming down now that the wife and I are both doing Atkins.

Put a solid 12.5 miles on the Bike today. Wanted to keep the tempo the same throughout the ride so I stayed in the same gear the whole ride keeping the cadence the same into the wind as with it. Made it difficult into the wind but made up for it with the tailwind. Good day of training. Finished with Core ABs and a good stretch.

Played Golf today. Leg was sore and wasn't always stable on my back swing, but I finished 18 holes. Went to the gym and did the following:

Bench Press 10x135, 4x10x195
Lat Pulls 10x90, 4x10x135

Super-Setted the Bench and Lat Pulls. Took 1 minute rest between sets. Always good to get a good lift done in a short time. Tomorrow will be back to the Bike and a new week of training.

Leg felt good this morning so I did 15.9 miles on the Bike. Steady ride and good tempo. This afternoon I went to the gym and did a variety of Single Leg Presses and Curls and RDLs, Body Weight Squats, Wall Ball Squats, and Stretches. Good work today. Weight is coming down. Lost 7 pounds since last Sunday.....I'm excited.

Legs were really sore this morning, especially the weak Hammy one. Really sore. Put that aside and hit the Bike for 16.2 miles at an easy tempo. Both legs were a bit crampy in the Hamstrings when I 1st started but that worked out after about 4 miles into the ride. Felt good to get some miles in. Finished with 10 Minute Trainer Yoga/Stretch and some additional stretches and Core AB work. Good day of training. See if I can keep this going. Also the weight is down another half pound this AM.....down to 223.6.....yeah.

Hammy was really sore this morning. Rode only 12.6 miles and struggled with that. Diet is going well but I don't think I'm getting enough carbs to sustain my workload. Went to the gym this afternoon and did Chest and Back:
Bench Press 5x10x195
Lat Pulls 5x10x135
Quick work as I took 1 minute between sets and exercises. Might take tomorrow as a rest day and see if that helps my leg.

Thanks Tony. Had to take today off as my hamstring was killing me. Very sore from the yoga and stretching and weight training. Very Sore. Got some therapy and it feels better. Will wait for Saturday to hit the Bike again and see how I feel.

Got bored with hamstring issue so I went for two 1.2 mile s walk. Spaced about four hours apart. After each, I did some light stretches and PT for the Hammy. Feels better, but not up to speed. Will take it slow over the next few days.......getting hurt sucks!!!

Yesterday was a very easy spinning 6 miles on the Bike. Did some PT for the Hammy and some light stretches and Core ABs.

Today, I went to the gym and did the following:
Bench Press and Lat Pulls were Super Setted with 1 minute rest between sets.
Bench Press 10x135, 5x10x180, 2miutes rest. AMRAP @ 180x 20. very hard the last few reps.
Lat Pulls 10x90, 5x10x120, 2 minutes rest. AMRAP @ 120 X 15. Again, very hard.

Wanted to rest the Hammy today and did that. Hopefully I can get back to the Bike for some easy riding tomorrow.

Re, re, re injured the Hammy today just reaching for something in the kitchen. Felt like I got shot in the leg. Back for therapy tomorrow and I'd don't know when I can back to regular training. Will still lift upper body but the legs aren't going to get any work for a while. Very, very painful.
