A solid 8 miles on the Bike again. Felt better today.....like I had more power. Watts were higher today....that's good. Knees still feel terrible...had me looking at knee replacement surgery online. Don't know what to do.....any thoughts?
Hopefully I can get a ride or a lift in before our game tomorrow.

Took two days as rest. Today I played some good golf......for me, then went to the gym and did the following:
Bench 10x135, Lats 10x90, Leg Press 10x215 as a warm up. Then 15, 12, 10, 8 reps on the Bench at 180, Lats at 120, Leg Press at 275, and Core ABs at 80. No rest....hard work...got the heart rate up and a good sweat going. Good day. Knees actually feel better today. See how I feel tomorrow. Want to get back to the Bike tomorrow.

For some reason I really felt good today. Rode a solid 9.4 miles on the Bike and rode hard. Watts were high for me and finished in under 35 minutes....all that's good. Want to lift tomorrow and ride on alternating days. See how that goes.....at least that's the plan for now. Knees still feel better, but still seeing the Dr. on Friday and getting a stem cell therapy treatment in both knees.

Took yesterday as rest. Today I went to the gym and did the following:
Bench 10x135, Lats 10x90, Leg Press 10x215 as a warm up. Then for time, 25 reps of the following: Leg Press @ 255, Bench @ 165, Crunches, Lats @105, Seated DB Military Press @ 25s, Crunches, Bench @165, and Leg Press @ 255. Finished in 6:50. Very hard and tiring. Could have gone heavier on the Legs and Lats and Military Press. Bench took three sets to finish the second set. HR was through the roof. Took a while to get back to normal. Great workout. Next time I will up some of the weights and still see if I can get through it.

Had Dr. appts. all day today so I went to the gym tonight and hit the Spin Bike for 30 minutes hard. Got in 8.3 miles at a solid pace....for me. Good work. Going to Miami for some Stem Cell Treatment on both knees. They feel better now but I was really hurting last week. This should help for the time being...see how long it lasts. This weekend I will be in Orlando for the Food and Wine Tasting.....will walk a lot I suppose....lol.

Had injectionsthe weeken in both knees on Friday. Felt pretty good over the weekend. Tonight I went to the gym and did the following:
Bench 10x135, Lats 10x90, Leg Press 10x215 as a warm up. Then 4 Rounds of 10 Reps on the 2 minute mark. Bench @195, Lats @120, Leg Press @275, Crunches on a machine @80. Good workout. Trying to get back at it. Could have done one or maybe two more sets but stopped at 4 Rounds. Legs felt good. Didn't want to extend them too much. Will try for the Bike tomorrow.

Did an easy 8.1 miles on the Bike this morning. Felt OK....not great. Legs were a little tired from last night's workout. Didn't seem to want to respond. See how tomorrow goes.

Met a fellow rider this morning so we rode an easy 8.8 miles together. Very easy ride but did get some cardio done. Maybe a lift tomorrow before our game.

Thought I'd get a Lift in before our game and this what I did:
Usual Warm up. Then 100 Reps on the Leg Press at 235, Bench 75 Reps at 150, Lats 75 Reps at 105, 100 Reps AB Machine at 80. Took as many sets as needed to finish each exercise then on to the next one. This was a very Hard Workout.....mentally and physically. Need rest just to get mind back in control as well as catching my breath. HR was very high throughout the workout. I'm shot...really don't feel like coaching right now. need to rest and I'll be OK. Whole workout took less than 15 minutes.

Met my new Biking Buddy today for an easy 15 miles on the Bike. Needed a good easy workout to recover from yesterdays workout. Feel pretty good. Will play some early morning golf tomorrow and see how I feel as to whether I get a Lift in or Ride done.

Just played Golf yesterday....played well....for me. Today I went to the gym and did the following:

Bench 10x135, Lat Pulls 10x90 as a warm up. Then did Bench and Lats for strength today.
Bench 10x180, 8x195, 6x210, 4x225, 2x240, 3x255.
Lats 10x120, 8x135, 6x150, 4x165, 2x180, 2x195.

Super Setted the exercises and took about 90-120 seconds rest. Less in the beginning and more towards the end. On the bench, I think I could have done another Rep or so but stopped at 3x255......felt good about that lift. On the Lats, I felt a lot stronger than I thought I would. 2x195....could have squeezed another if I really needed too, but stopped before I hurt myself.....lol. Overall, I wanted to test my strength and I was pleasantly surprised at how strong I was tonight. Could have done more but stopped. Great workout.

Rode a very solid 11.5 miles on the Bike hitting a couple of PRs along the way. Felt a lot better than I thought I would with so little work on the Bike. Good workout.

Yesterday was a rest day and today I went to the gym and did the following:
Bench 10x135, Lats 10x90, Leg Press 10x215 as a warm up.
Bench Press 3x10x225.
Lat Pulls 3x10x150.
Leg Press 3x10x315.
All sets were with about a 2 minute rest. Was really surprised at my overall strength. I'm psyched. Could have done more on the Legs. My Cardio/Strength Workouts have produced result beyond my expectations.....now if I can lose the weight I'll be ready....lol.

Body has been sore and stiff the last couple of days from my big strength workouts, so I took them as rest days. Our Football season is over. Lost in the first round of the playoffs.
Today I hit the Bike for 9.4 miles. Strong and steady ride for me. Felt pretty good.
I will have more time to get my workouts done now that I don't have practice. Hopefully that will help with the weight.

Every time I wanted to ride today, it rained. Not riding in the rain and slippery roads. Went to the gym tonight and did the following:
Bench 10x135, Lats 10x90, Leg Press 10x215 as a warm up. The Reps of 20, 18, 16, 14, 12 on the Bench @ 150, Lats @ 105, and Leg Press @ 245 with 45 seconds rest between
tri-sets. The workout didn't take that long.....about 12 minutes, once I started. But it was exhausting to say the least. Last sets on the Bench and Lats were getting very hard. Legs were OK....could have gone heavier. HR was up there and breathing was labored. Its amazing how fast 45 seconds goes towards the end.....lol.
