Very sore after the last workout. Played some golf over the weekend.......and pulled my groin....lol. Oh well....so much for getting old.

Today I went to the gym and did Upper Body Work:
Usual warm up the sets of 15, 12, 9, 6, 3 on the Bench at 165 and the Lats at 105. No rest. Solid workout.

Will try some light cardio tomorrow.

Groin was very sore yesterday so I rested. Today I went for an easy 5.7 miles Bike ride. Knees were sore to start and I felt my groin getting started. Everything loosened up as I rode. It was hard getting back on the Bike. Hope tomorrow is better.

After yesterday's easy ride and stretching, my groin is really sore. Today I went to the gym and did the following:
Usual warm up, then 5 sets of 8 Reps on the Bench at 180 and Lat Pulls at 120. Good workout.

Tomorrow I see the Dr about my knees........possibly getting replaced. That can be good and bad. Need both of them done. It's that or keep getting shots very 4-6 months. That can be expensive as they are not covered by insurance. Any thoughts on anyone having their knees replaced and still working out like they're a kid.....lol.

Bike is getting tuned up. Went to the gym and did the following:
6 sets of 8 Reps on the
Bench at 135, 150, 165, 180, 195, 210
Lats at 90, 105, 120, 135, 150, 150
Weighted Core ABs at level 8
Did each set as a TriSet and then rest 1 minute. Got to be pretty hard at the end. Good workout. Had the HR up there and worked up a good sweat. Hopefully the Bike gets done tomorrow.

Rode the Bike for an easy 7.4 miles on Tuesday. Groin felt fine......no cramping or pulling. Awoke on Wednesday morning to a totally discolored groin. Leg was black and blue. PT said it could have been scar tissue letting go and the cycling pumped out all the bad blood. Leg is a bit stiff from therapy yesterday. No Bike today, although the PT said it wont hurt the leg......maybe tomorrow.

Today I went to the gym and did the following:
Usual warm-up followed by 3 Rounds Of AMRAP on the Bench at 150x30, 20, 15. Lat Pulls at 105x28, 18, 13. Core ABs at Level 8x 30, 20, 15. took 1 minute rest between TriSets.
Mentally fatiguing.....physically tiring. Major pump when finished. Good workout.

Two weeks into total knee replacement on my right knee. Had a few set backs but now seem to be recovering well. Still have more pain than I thought I would have but getting there. Never experienced anything like this. Makes me think about the second knee replacement. Start out patient therapy next week and then we will see how fast I can recover. Pray for me. Thx.

Well I graduated from PT. Still can't straighten my knee totally but working on it. Have been to the gym a couple of times for some light upper body work and working on my leg(s). I've even been on the Bike three times for 4-6 miles. Taking a day between gym and bike. Recovery has been going well since my initial two weeks. Got to even hit golf balls for the first time.......didn't do badly.......lol. Will try to get back to some semblance of training.
