Hey all,

So after watching the olympics pretty much all day this past week my interest in track

and field has been renewed. I'm desperate for something competetive to train for and I

think Masters T&F is just the thing.

A little about me; I'm currently 28 (29 in November), hoping if I start training now I'll be

in pretty good shape next year when im eligible. I have not done any kind of training

for track since High School where I only participated my Senior year and was injured for

pretty much the entire season. Im in fairly decent shape as far as strength is concerned.

I've been training powerlifting style for the past several years but my conditioning is pretty

bad and I need some mobility work for sure.

So my question for you is how would you approach training for say 100m and 200m

events coming from basically zero sprinting for 10 years?

Thanks and sorry for rambling...
