Nice work R&S! You have much to be proud of. Some of those masters runners out there are freakishly fast!

That's a good way to finish your season R&S. That starts your training for next year on a positive note.

54.87 at BayState Games and 55.26 yesterday in Rhode Island. Nice milestone in that have not broken 55 since 2006. Nice thread. I really enjoyed it and now may try some of those workouts that were posted. Have a good summer!

Mike

Hey guys, I know this thread has been informative for you runners, but If I have to read anymore "At 'a' boy" two sentence replies from your mutual admiration group I'm going to be ill. You do know there is a TRAINING Board in the Forums where this sort of banter would be better posted right? After reading some of these posts for the last month I almost miss Anthony Treachers rants. Hope you fella's don't get too bent out of shape with my post, just had to do it.

Been trying in vain to get my training started after mostly missing track season. I'm now in very early base training for 2010 already. So, I jumped into a 1/2 marathon to see where I'm at, and ran 1:15:42 - a very respectable time given my training volume (about 40 mpw).

Bring out the barf bags. Good 400 Mike. Feels good to turn back the clock.
