Over at the site for the IAAF World Championships currently in progress, there's a nice Athletes page where you can view the athlete lists by a variety of parameters, including By Age: http://berlin.iaaf.org/athletes/browser/index.html (then click the "By Age" tab) The oldest entrant is a W48 Discus thrower from Belarus. (The youngest entrants are M16 and W16 sprinters.) Clicking on an athlete's data takes you to his/her bio. Enjoy! -Maria |
