From the vantage point of an M70 sprinter/long jumper at the main stadium, I thought the 2009 Lahti WMA World Championships were an organisational success - well staffed with lots of sensible people. The Call Room performed very professionally. Sprinter events went smoothly as did the long jump. The starters timed the shot just right. Results appeared in time so that I was never in any doubt as to whether I had qualified for the next round or not. Congratulations WMA and thanks from a satisfied customer. |
