I'm interested in an outdoor pentathlon or heptathlon in 2010. I thought there was usually a Masters National event (separate from the Pent held the Friday of Nationals). I don't see it on the calendar this year. Am I wrong or is there a gap this year?

The outdoor pent will be held at the outdoor national championship. The outdoor decathlon/heptathlon will be held June 19-20 at Joplin Mo. For info contact Jeff Watry at decamouse.

Yeah the pent is always part of the regular track championships, the dec/hep are a separate combined events championships which are usually rather poorly publicized. If you like multi-events, decamouse is the man to know, he will keep you in the loop.
