The Oregon Track Club Masters will one again be hosting a limited number of master track races at the start of University of Oregon meets at Hayward Field.

April 10 - Pepsi Team Invitational (Oregon vs. Texas A&M, Washinton, Illinois, Missouri) - Masters 200m and mile

April 17 - Men of Oregon vs. UCLA - Masters 100m and 800m

The meet schedule has not been finalized, but the masters events will occur back-to-back prior to the start of the college meet, most likely around noon.

These events are open to all masters runners age 40 and up. Our intent is to showcase masters athletes in all age groups, not just the younger ones. Last year's entries ranged in age from 41 to 82, and featured an American Record in the women's 75-79 age group from Suzi MacLeod!

There is no charge, and you need not be a Oregon Track Club Masters member to compete, but advance entry is required. Entry deadlines are Tues, April 6th for the Pepsi Invitational, and Tues, April 13th for the Oregon vs. UCLA dual. Please note that athletes may only enter a single event per meet. To enter, email your name, age, team affiliation (if any), and event to craig@otcmasters.org.

More info will be posted at www.otcmasters.org as it becomes available.

Also, entries are now being accepted for the 2010 Hayward Classic and USATF Northwest Regional Masters Championships, June 26-27. See www.haywardclassic.org
