Masters Track & Field Athletes Robert and Yuko have competed in Masters for several years, and have helped with the local youth in their community for many many years. The goal is to improve their local community, and to get the kids "hooked" on Track & Field for life.

WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT TO COMPETE AT THE 2010 NATIONALS IN VIRGINIA

KEEP THE DREAM ALIVE!

MacCanDo Tenderloin Youth Track Club is very proud to tell you that a total of ten student athletes have been qualified for the 2010 AAU National Junior Olympics Track & Field Championship that will be held on August 1-8 in Norfolk, VA.

The club traveled to Tulare, CA on June 18-20, 2010 for the National Qualifier and ten student athletes have been qualified in eleven different events. We expect that a few more will be joining after the next qualifier meet which will be held on the forth of July weekend in Reno.
For the rookie MacCanDo athletes, this has been their dream, to compete at the Nationals, and they did it! For the veterans, they look forward to train harder and perform better at the national level of competitiveness this year.

The organization has been operating under a significant budget shortfall this track season. We need your support desperately to keep their dream alive. It is our hope that we can all go to Virginia and compete in August.

The cost for the trip is approximately $1,000 per child, which includes the air fare, meals and lodging, and a vehicle rental to transport athletes between the hotel and the stadium. We are trying to help defray the cost of the trip with fundraisers and donations. Our student athletes have worked very hard practicing and competing year round as well as keeping up their academic performances.

We are asking your consideration in supporting the trip with tax-deductable donations.

Please forward your donation by July 15th. We appreciate your kind consideration to make our children’s dream come true.
Please make your check payable to: MacCanDo Tenderloin Youth Track Club
And mail to: P.O. Box 420455, San Francisco, CA 94142

MacCanDo Tenderloin Youth Track club is a non-profit 501(c) (3) organization with the mission “to help at-risk youth reach their full potential through track and field opportunities”. We know the unique experiences our student athletes share in our program will help them become responsible and productive members of the society in the future.
