Does anyone have any information on the following old throwers? • Gene Kanavel: 60 foot shot putter in 1969 • Gene Mancino: USA Junior Outdoor Track & Field Champions 1974, discus, hammer; North Bergman High in New Jersey; threw for Princeton in the 70s • Jeff Smith: shot put, early 70s • Geoff Harrowby: shot putter from Laguna Beach, late 60s-early 70s • George Allen: 59 ft shot putter 1969 (not sure if he was former senator from Virginia and the son of the famous coach) We need to know if they are alive or dead; year of birth; and, if deceased, cause of death and year of death. |
