I have tried to register for your forum, but I get a message which says:

"Registrazione SpamBot"

each time. Any suggestions?

Tom

Andycop,

You mailed me to say I should create a password and user name before filling out the rest of the registration form.

I have tried to do this three times today, but each time, a pop up on your site from http://adv-games.com invades my computer. It alters my internet home page to adv-games.com, and takes my computer off-line.

Research on the web suggests this is a well-known hi-jack programme, which can be difficult to remove once it attacks.

I think you need to sort this out before anyone else tries to register. I will not be returning to your web site until I hear that it is clean.

Tom

Strange...
I've tried many times, but that kind of pop-up never appear to me.
I've asked to other forumist, and no one have had the same problem.

Assume the worse anytime someone gives a website out.

Have your idiot brother-in-law try it first. Seems we all have one.

I registered OK on the Italian site 24 October 2007. No problem then and no problems when accessing the site to date.

It was very good of Tom to point out the problem he encountered when registering a user name. That certainly is worrying. But give Andycop a fair chance to sort it out.

I do not think you will have any problems simply accessing
http://masteritalia.forumgratis.biz/

The site is predominantly in the Italian language but you can post in English. Online translation software such as
http://babelfish.altavista.digital.com/babelfish/tr using Italian to English will give you an idea of the topics.

I don't have a language problem, as my Italian isn't bad, but I tried again today, and exactly as before, a piece of hijack malware leaps into action. This seems able to bypass my pop-up blocker and Spybot protection. It leaves my Explorer home page set to the "adv-games.com" site, and takes everything off-line. I'm waiting for comments from the Spybot people.

The interesting thing is that my internet research on this piece of malware has only found one entry on the whole of the web - on an Italian forum on Yahoo. Now that's a strange coincidence, isn't it?

I didn't have any virus problem during the regisitration process either. It's a cool website forum. They even tolerate our limited italian speaking skills. Very friendly. However, I did decide to register using Mozilla browser instead of IE. When in doubt of an exploit attack, use something other than internet explorer. :)

Probably good advice. I updated my malware and pop up protection and went back to the site. The pop up is still there, but got blocked. So, in my experience, tread with caution until they do something about eliminating this unwanted passenger on the site.

My personal view is that I'm disinclined to register until that point.

Tom, we have found the solution to this problem.
In less than a month, we will open a new master-web-site with a forum (not a freeforum like now: ...).
We are searching for "international" journalists...

Andycop,

That is good news. If I can be of any help, let me know. I am an accredited photographer for the British Masters Athletics Federation, and was one of the UK media team in Riccione. I also speak a little Italian.

Tom
