W45 Liz Palmer gave my daughter her National Championship Gold Medal for the triple jump. I've had the honor of becoming friends with Liz over the last year after she sent me advice about an injury on this forum. Liz continues to be more than generous with her knowledge of the sport and in her encouragement towards me. My daughter participates in youth track and field and excels in the sprints, but especially the long jump. So as a gesture of friendship and inspiration, Liz sent my daughter her medal! Is that cool or what?
