I'd like to be one of the first to congratulate Clint Johnson from Missouri for his incredible toss of 53' 1" in the shot put , Men's 45-49, this past weekend!!! For you throwers out there Clint was a standout thrower in High School in Kansas City, I believe in the late 1970's early 80's were he threw 69' in the shot put and 213' in the discus. Good to have you in the mix and I believe this will make for an interesting race between Clint and Glenn Thompson, who now turned 45, to break the American record presently owned by Ed Hill at 55' 3".
