Just wondering. Me and another old guy thrower are entered in the open PAUSATF championships. They don't allow us to throw the old people's implements, so, we are throwing the 16# hammer.

Thought is would be fun to wear a Macho Libre wrestler's mask.

Are there some rules against this?

Didn't Reese Hoffa do that as the "Unknown Thrower" as few years back? Right before he made his big breakthrough, I think.

I really think we should take a page from pro wrestling-we could all come up with different personas and costumes-of course the winner would be decided beforehand :)

throwers, jumpers-

an easy way to get more attempts if you are a "slow starter" and need more than 6 chances to pop a good one is to wear a costume/mask as one competitor, and then sign up as a "second" athlete wearing a different disguise- voila! 12 measured throws/jumps!
