Specifically Northern Indiana...Say between and including the South Bend area to the Fort Wayne area.

And if at all possible, competitive events in age groups...I'm 45.

I'm looking for 100 meters, maybe 200 meters (But I'll do best at 100 meters at my age) 4 X 100 meters and possibly the long jump.

I've searched and searched and all I've been able to come up with is distance competitions (Or fun runs).

I've read about the MastersTrack down in Indianapolis but that seems just a bit out of my league...I don't mind losing, but I don't see them wanting me taking up valuable space.

Any help?

Thanks!!

Johnny, you should go to the next one you see in Indy. They'd be happy to have you. Masters meets encourage those of all levels to compete.

Though it might be tough to find too many meets in that area now. It's mostly off-season for track from now until indoors starts. Of course, there are some exceptions, but no clue if they are near you. None in the Chicago-area until indoors in December, I'm pretty sure.

Hey, thanks for the heads-up...It looks as if there are plenty of opportunities for me to participate.

I don't suppose you have a 2009 list of meets?

Thanks in advance!!!

There isn't a list of meets yet for the 2010 season in our area. The traditional first indoor meet of the season in the Chicago area is the Ted Haydon meet at the University of Chicago.

Here's the entry info from last year's meet:

http://uctc.org/schedule1.html

Around November they'll update with this year's info.

Look here for results from 2004 to 2008:

The Illinois USATF association is looking to have an indoor series of meets (hopefully!) from Jan to March 2010 in Sterling, IL. No info yet, but I'll post it when available. Remind me in December.

Let me know if you're going to be there.
