I am a 52 year old man (53 in May) and I want to get into training for the mile. I just don't know where to begin. Can I get a comprehensive training program that I can understand anywhere online? I'd like to know how to train and also how to eat! I imagine diet and supplements are a big part of success. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Hi, bp Every athlete is different, so no online training program is guaranteed to be right for you, but here are some great resources: Pete Magill's "Younger Legs for Older Runners" site: http://petemagill.blogspot.com/ Ross Dunton's training site: http://www.coachr.org/index.php And don't overlook training experts in your own area. Contact USATF's Georgia Association: http://www.usatfga.org/ Or a club in Georgia: http://www.usatf.org/clubs/search/info. ... nNumber=45 Best of luck! |
