| Post subject: | Masters World Championships 2011-Question |
I have a couple dumb questions about the World championships for next year. Do you have to qualify for this event? Are there standards for each event for qualification. I just recently have started throwing again (after 15 years off) and if God willing and I could keep my body together I wanted to try and work towards competing in this event next year. There are no qualifying standards. You pay your money and show up and throw. For Worlds, however, there are very specific entry procedures which are done through USATF rather than directly. Lots of info on this will be out there probably later this year. |
