Shall I just do the statistical analysis and write a proposal? The proposal would be an argument for a methodology, parameter estimates, and AA standards. You can then critique the numbers below the surface instead of quibbling over opinions.

Of course, the simplest stopgap approach is just to pro-rate the changed weights of the implements!
