Post subject:  My avatar can lick your avatar

Okay, we've got some avatars uploaded now. For those not in the know, an avatar is a manifestation of a deity or released soul in bodily form on earth; an incarnate divine teacher.

However at website forums, an avatar is a movable icon representing a person in cyberspace or virtual reality graphics.

So, if you notice, I have a roadrunner picture next to this post. (Or some other picture if I decide to change it.)

That's my avatar. You can pick one for yourself by clicking on "Profile" at the top of this (and every) page and scrolling down to the avatar section. Click on "show gallery" and pick one, then click on the "Select avatar" button and that will take you back to the profile page. Be sure and save that new avatar choice by clicking on "Submit" and you're done. You've been avatared and feathered!

Ken,

Are you limiting avatars to those provided, or will you soon allow uploading of appropriately sized images of our own choice?

Master,

I'll be adding some track-themed avatars when I have a chance. But if you have one you'd like to use, just ship the image to TrackCEO@aol.com, and I'll make it the right size, etc.

To all who want their own avatars (like the one of me at left at age 16, when I had hair):

Rather than spin wheels and create a bunch of generic images, just pick out a photo (or specify a part of a photo) on any of my masters track photo galleries, and I'll create an avatar just for you! (Just send me the URL of the photo, so I know which one.)

Or email me an image -- color or black-and-white -- and I'll prepare it for avatar use.

Here's one place to find lots of shots:

Here's another place to find action shots (maybe even of YOU):
