Does anyone use compression shorts?
What brand?
Do you think they help with hamstring issues?

I race the 800 but have been dealing with hamstring tighness and a pull last year.
I have an older pair of underarmour, but am looking at a pair of CW-X pro from running warehouse (they show that they support the lower back and the hamstrings).
Are they just a placebo for me, or do they really help in your opinion?

If you think they will help you then they will. I don't think they do because lots of world class sprinters (especially hurdlers like Liu Xiang, Allen Johnson and sprinters like Dennis Mitchell) don't use them. I use them only because of my massive powerful thighs and they prevent chafing... :D
