I quit smoking at 43 and started running. After several stress fractures, I switched to rowing at 50 and have been surprisingly successful-not great but pretty good. It is difficult to fit the training(set times to row a boat and boathouse far away) in with work and was thinking I should switch back to running but perhaps shorter distances since I am quite strong & big boned (5'5"/145). How do I begin? Websites with training programs? I haven't run in 6 years.Any thoughts?
