Standing starts are permitted in masters competition. As a warning to you, though, I watched many people get disqualified in the 100m (didn't watch the 200) for being unable to stay motionless at the set position at last year's nationals. The hold tends to be longer than you're likely to experience in many all-comers meets. Since I currently use a standing start, I was very aware of this at Charlotte. I suggest getting very comfortable with your set position and not assuming that position at the on your mark command.
