I received an ad from Adidas about their compression pants and shirts. Most throwers spend a lot of time trying to maximize the effects of the stretch-shortening cycle during the throws by driving hard with the legs and hips and holding the "X." It seems to me that compression clothes might might produce a recoil during the throw. Does anyone have any ideas about this? Also, is this clothing permitted by the rules (they allow bench shirts in powerlifting)?
