Does anybody have any information about this meet? I can't find anything online except an entry form. Anybody find out what time it starts or seen an order of events anywhere?

I've been concerned about the same thing and contacted the track coach at East Stroudsburg University who is the meet director. His rather snooty reply was that he only sends out that information once he receives an entry. Not exactly the way to encourage participation. I'm still planning to go, but would REALLY like to know when the meet starts and when I can reasonably hope to get on the road home. Seems that will remain a mystery until he gets my entry and sends me (by snail mail no less) the schedule of events and directions. Appalling.

I signed up and received the "schedule". It's kind of vague....
like Hammer, Javelin at 9 am, shot to follow hammer,
9:00 am Long/triple jump pit opens
10:00 High Jump
Pole Vault following HJ
Discus follows shot put

all the track events are listed at 9:00 am.

That's exactly why I decided to go to Springfield, MA instead. I had no idea what time I was supposed to be there and I live 3 hours out!

I just joined USATF, got slammed with the $15 late entry fee which all added up to $128 for this meet... then I had to buy some of my own implements for throwing... AM I CRAZY or what? I'm really just dabbling in this to see if I'm still interested in throwing... I'm crazy I guess.

Tomorrow night, I'm going down to San Jose CC for an all-comers.
Going to cost me 5 bucks. Throwing the shot, discus, hammer, javelin and weight.

Northern California is all comers heaven. About 5 meets a week in a 50 mile radius. Hate throwning at master's meets, take forever.

Our regional the PAUSATF, NORCAL, was incredibily well run. They bumped the entry fee to $15 an event, so everybody wasn't lined up around the block for their yearly discus throw.

All of you throwers are nuts if you ask me.

Yup, that's us. Just a bunch of old nuts standing around throwing
heavy stuff. ......and discussing our aches and pains.

But it beats reality TV
