Weight and superweight for women up to age 50 are 20 and 35 pounds respectively. Overall length is 16 inches. They are thrown like the hammer.
Check out the website www.prettysporty.com for some photos from indoor nationals to get an idea of what it looks like. Click on race photos and then scroll down until you get the National Masters indoor, weight throw. There are also photos from the open nationals of the young studs, men and women throwing the weight.

Youngr throwers I know think that masters are crazy for throwing the superweight.

#1 Everyone looks like a blithering idiot when they first start out.
#2 I am an older thrower and I too think the super weight is crazy.
