I could only put so much in the topic. Here's the full question:

What was your time (in your track event) when you first started masters track, what is it now, and how much time did it tak you to get there?

Here's the answer you're probably looking for:

Yes, you can improve your times or distances from Day 1 of your masters comeback. I've talked to lots of folks, and the consensus is this: If you avoid injury, you can expect to improve for two or three years before beginning the inevitable backslide due to aging.

My first year of masters track was 41. My best 100, 200 and 400 were in my third year, when I was 43.

Well for me I got back into it at age 32. I young master but out of the sport for some time. I am a 100m and long jump guy. I tried to plan my season ok and I did ok. I jumoed into a Div I track meet my shot out. My long Jump was 22ft 4 in my first time jumping in 11 years. My 60m was not so good. I ran like 7.4. Big drop off there but hard work mproved that.
