As a runner in Florida where we have no indoor possibilities one must run indoor length sprint races in our two "winter sun" meets at the USAT-NTC track at Clermont. I understand why races run on the curve cannot be used for ranking as it is a 400 meter track, but I have never understood why the 60 meter sprints and hurdles and events like the high jump can't be counted as long as there is no wind advantage! Anyone have any reasoning why a 60 meter time outdoors would be different than indoors? Happy Thanksgiving to all...
