Just curious if all-american marks, etc. have to come in masters meets or if they can come in open/collegiate meets as well?

Seems to me that if you run the time or get the mark, it should count regardless.

My first indoor WR came at a college open meet. I would guess if they accept that they should accept a performance for an All-American mark.

All-American marks can come from any recognized meet. Each mark should be verifiable. You would go here to get a certificate or other recognition: http://www.nationalmastersnews.com/allamer/aa_prod.htm . Same criterion for meets (run in accordance with USAT&F rules) would hold true for the masters rankings @ www.mastersrankings.com.

I've looked around and found that there are very
few meets in our area. What about us organizing
our own meet? Do we need to have a certain number
of participants? Do we need to have a certain number
of events?
