Hi,

I've been quiet for sometime, since my heart attack of Sept 28 2007, but despite doctor's warnings, my daughter's panic and my friends, I have been competeing since May. First Weight Pentathlon saw me 200 points short of my Italy mark of 4689 pts. Our Thrower's Club July 21st meet saw me within 73 pts. of my World Record of 4930 pts !!!!!

I'll be the death of me yet !!!!

Riccione-- Garry Bachman

Forgot to mention:-

Was named Athlete of the Year of 2007 of the Ontario Masters Track and Field Assn.Canada. As well, will be inducted in the Durham County of Canada
Hall of Fame for 2007, in October.

A life without risk isn't worth living.

Congratulations on your continued success. I think that as long as you are aware of the risks and are enjoying yourself - more power to ya!

Garry, you are THE MAN!

We're honored to have U on the board. Please don't be shy about sharing your wealth of wisdom and experience.

We all want to be like you at 86 (but without the medical issues, ahem).

Thanks for checking into the Forum!

Hi Ken,

I say again, this is all done without pumping iron.

Flexibility, dexterity, throw repeatedly and develop THOSE muscles, in the meantime one is able to analize those throws and build on them.

Thanks for your comments,

Riccione Garry

Sometime later,
while lying in bed, I thought, OOPS !!!! I should have said.
"Many thanks for your worthy praise"

Garry

Put a different way by Martin Luther King:

"If you haven't found something to die for, you haven't truly lived"

One of my all-time favorites
