When will they determine official dates for the 2009 outdoor championships? Will they do it at meetings during this year's championships that are currently running?

Good question. I've been wondering the same thing.

Oddly enough, the dates for the 2010 meet in Sacto are already listed on the USATF site:

http://www.usatf.org/calendars/national.aspx?year=2010

But I assume those dates are wrong as that would be 5 days (the 7th is a Wednesday) so I'm guessing it's really going to be July 8th-11th.

Also found this interesting because it looks like bidding is already closed for 2011:

http://www.usatf.org/groups/EventDirect ... enBids.asp

Wonder who has bid for 2011.

At the athelte's meeting, they said the dates are July 9-12, 2009.

Thanks for the dates DiscusHook. Can't wait since I wasn't able to get out to Spokane this year.
