Where can I find a list of T&F events in Florida for 2009. I heard the Florida AC posted info on their website, but when I checked it is woefully out of date. Help!

The national training center in Clermont, FL has several T & F events. You may want to check there (www.usantc.com). There is also an event in Gainesville, FL on Feb 7th (gainesvillesportscommission.com). Hope this helps. Let me know if you find other sites.

Thank you tonyb, but I should've written "Masters T&F" events. The NTC cancelled the only meet I'd be able to get in shape for.

I have been waiting on the Florida AC to update their website also. Get on Donald L. DeNoon's email list. (noonwalk_99@yahoo.com) He's their new contact person.
NTC has another open meet in Clermont on February 14th. There were mainly collegiate participants at the meet they had on January 18th, but at least its something you can use to prepare for Indoor Nat'ls.
It's slim pickins' when it comes to masters track meets in the Miami area. :( Maybe I should go back to Cleveland. NAH!!!

2/14 T&F Meet @ NTC has been cancelled. I'll call there to see if there are any more Masters events scheduled. I didn't see any on their schedule. Thanx!- it was a good lead.

Thanks for posting this info. I just emailed them last week to inquire about the meet as I will be in FL that weekend. I was told it was on and they would have implements I could use.

Glad I check these posts!!!! It would have been a long drive for nothing.

Awwwww poop! I was banking on that NTC meet. Now I need a Plan-B. Hopefully the Florida AC will come to the rescue because Gainsville is quite a distance from Miami.

Looks like "Maythro" will be a "Nothro" this season. NTC said all meets are "Open" events - 16# shotput is a little much @ 70 yrs. old

The NTC Classic (5/23) has age groups listed for the running events. So just bring your ball, disc and/or jav and just chuck it. That is what we did for the Winter Sun meet in Feb. That's my plan to sharpen up for the Oshkosh.

Thanks for the info, but one meet does not a season make.
