Hey Guys, Does anyone have any ideas on how to build a high jump pit? Or where one could be obtained at minimal cost? Thanks, Tony |

Hi Tony, I kept my eye out for years for a used high jump pit... then one day I found one on a government auction website. It had belonged to UVA, and I got it (complicated story). I'll be glad to tell you more about it if you want to email me ... at ejk@ec.rr.com I now have it in my yard, but no idea how I'm going to make a jumping surface. I'm hoping to try competing again this year at age 50... and be glad to talk high jump if you want to. Jeanne |

Hey Jeanne, Thanks for the response. I am glad you were able to find a high jump pit. I really don't know where I would put a pit even if I could find one. But I would like to find a way to practice high jumping. Good luck to you competing. You should be able to find many indoor and outdoor meets for you to get started again. Tony |
