I have had an ongoing issue for about 9 months now. It seems that every time i try to run faster than 3/4 stride, i cramp and have to rest for several days. It was originally happening with my hamstring, and more recently in my calf. I have gone over and over every aspect of my training (hydration, diet, warmup, stretching, etc.) and as soon as it appears the problom is over and training is going well, it will lock up on me again. It is the most frustrating thing i have experianced in my 40+ years of running. Any ideas?
