Post subject:  Recovery from brain surgery

Hi all
Has anyone had any experience recovering from a brain tumor removal (talking about throwers now) I don't really know what will come in terms of the treatment after the surgery but I would love to hear your stories.

So far I have gotten past a heart attack and later having a defibrillator put in to control my tachycardia- I would really like to be back throwing later this season (hoping for those October meets at West Point)

So I don't know what will be but I'd like to read your stories while I recuperate.

Here is a website that has plenty of info on Brain tumor surgery, recovery and stories/videos from patients themselves.

www.thebarrow.org

I work at The Barrow Neurological Institute (BNI) and would be glad to try to answer any more specific questions you may have. PM me anytime.

Get well, God bless and get back to the track!

if you practiced with Doctor John Mattai, he would be "on call" if anything happens. I wish you a long life and a return to throwing when you are able.
