New T-shirts tout Oshkosh, Lahti masters championships
Thanks to the artistic skills of my son, Bobby, our masterstrack.com shop has several new designs for your inspection, including the ones below. To save on price, we’ve taken off the masterstrack.com logo from the backs of these shirts — which bumps up the price appreciably. We’ve also added some generic USA, Canadian and British flagged shirts for masters track. Other national flag designs are in the offing! So visit again.
Mugs, bags and mouse pads also carry these designs!

I’ll be sporting a Lathi Or Bust tshirt at the Greater Philadelphia Track Club fundraiser on April 7th to raise the funds to send me to Finland this summer to take on the best masters athletes in the world
Ten years ago, I wrote a NMN column on the dismal design of most masters track and field t-shirts that vendors and meet management attempt to foist off on us track and fieldsters.
There have been many times that I wanted to purchase a T&F meet t-shirt to take home, but didn’t for the simple reason that it did not advertise T&F to anyone who was more than two feet away. Usually, there is no graphic or icon associated with track and field or the words “Track and Field,” if they appear at all, are so small as to be microscopic. You can identify an NFL, NBA, or MLBA shirt from across the stadium. I don’t want a t-shirt with the words “Track and Field” the size of the little alligator on a polo shirt.
Part of the bid for any national masters indoor/outdoor championships should be the submission of a T-shirt design that adequately advertises our sport.
