‘News and Muse’ selected for Blogburst syndication

Well, I guess this is good. A few months ago, on a lark, I submitted this blog to blogburst.com — a service that promotes blogs to rootin-tootin’ real publishers, like newspapers and stuff. If something on a blog is of interest to a publisher, it links to the blog. And it drives more visitors your way. Anyway, this week I got this note: “Greetings! We are pleased to extend you an invitation to the BlogBurst Network . . . Thanks for helping us show off your blog! Best Regards, The BlogBurstTeam” So don’t be surprised if you see this blog show up on one of the big boys’ Web sites. I’m just tickled we’re getting noticed. (And oh, BTW, in the third quarter of 2006, nearly 41,000 unique users visited this site. Not too shabby.)

All masters athletes are pretty unique, Ken.

I second Rick’s comment. The recognition of your excellent work is well-deserved. Congratulations, Ken.

Ken is doing a great job, so any recognition is well-deserved.
Does the “comments” material have the potential of going out on the big universe too? If so, a good incentive to keep it clean, and check spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

Well deserved recognition Ken. Since I started competing again as a masters athlete, I’ve always thought of Masterstrack.com as the bible of masters track and field. Keep up the excellent work. Hopefully the site will now reach even more athletes interested in masters events.

Ken should get a special award for promoting master’s track and field

I agree with Tom F. lets recognize Kens incredible dedication and service to US<< Masters Track and Field..Ken has created a forum where the ATHLETES have a voice…at one time i was a strong supporter of National Masters News but when they failed to support me ie: not publishing my letters of genuine concern…they LOST my support. I support Ken Stones endeavors 100%and i suggest any other people who really appreciate his efforts send a donation (like i did) to keep this going STRONG..Funding is essential to success even if Ken has too much class to ever ask for help..and please when giving out merit awards do not forget Dave Clingan or Larry Patz as well.
