New, improved Forum requires password re-set; our apologies
Sharp-eyed visitors may notice changes in my message board, called the Forums. Folks who need corrective lenses (like me) also may note the requirement that users re-set their passwords. Instructions are posted here. It’s a nuisance, I know, but the tradeoff is a better message board, with cool new features (that I haven’t explored yet). Please let me know if you can’t post to the boards or have other issues.

I wasn’t really planning on doing this, but I noticed yesterday that you were behind a minor update, but when I got to the source code website, I came to recognize that you also behind one major update, so I just updated the major part to get your forums up to speed.
These updates are often security updates which are important.
Thanks for the detailed instructions, but when I logged in, I gave my name and password and it logged me straight in. No invalid password screen or anything.
In case you didn’t recognize him, Al Stone is god.
(Also my youngest brother.)
Tom, I hope that everybody has your experience. I had to jump through a bunch of hoops to get my username recognized.
Also, I just enabled the ability for folks to upload their own avatars. The maximum size is 150×150 px. If you upload something larger, it’ll generate an error.
Go here:
1. click on “forums”
2. log in (or register)
3. click on “user control panel”
4. click on “profile”
5. click on “edit avatar”
6. Follow instructions.
Post this on the forum

Hope you get it to work for you Smarty.
Roger that, Mary. I’ll give it a go like we do on the piste, one foot in front of the other. Smartty
Okay, gang,I was having trouble with the redo so I decided to utilize my name, Smartt, to more advantage. It worked. Oh, all right..it helps to follow the directions exactly.(^_^). Smartty
I have to log in every day, although automatic login is on.
Weia,
Try this:
1. log in as you usually do
2. look for “Delete all board cookies” found toward the bottom of that front page (or “board index”). This is found within a dark blue banner area. If you can’t find it, just search “delete” and it should show you where it is. Click on this link.
3. Deleting all board cookies will log you out.
4. Log back in, but be sure to check “Log me on automatically each visit“.
That should do it. If that doesn’t work, I’ll poke around in the administrative backend to see if there’s a setting that’s not setting right.
We’ll see tomorrow it that worked, thanx.
