2012 World Masters Track Championships set for New Brunswick!

I’m not making this up. It’s on the Web, so it has to be true! Right? In a profile of a 33-year-old lady football player, the Telegraph-Journal newspaper in Canada says: “Besides the community support, Harlow said one of the deciding factors for the selection committee rested with the tournament’s planned venue: the refurbished Canada Games Stadium. Officials called it top notch. That isn’t a surprise since it will play host to another international sporting event: the 2012 World Masters Track and Field championships, from Aug. 9 to 12.” You heard it here first! Wonder if WMA has. (OK, here’s the poop: The paper got confused. The meet is just a regional championships. We reported on this last December.)

    Hey Again: ‘Who’s Your Daddy??’:

Why don’t you reveal your real name, you coward who hides behind a fake name? If you feel so strongly about these political topics and you post on this website purportedly dedicated to topics about masters track and field, it means me to conclude:

    (1) You are a coward who hides behind an assumed post name while making outrageous posts whilst getting gratified by it,

    (2) you are just some little geek sitting in his mother’s basement trying to stir up the pot amongst posters whom you admire but feel inadequate beside.

Let’s settle it this way, twerp:
You claim to be a masters trackster, so why don’t you tell me a masters meet you will be at next track season and what you real name and location is. And I will meet you there (you know who I am, twerp, and you should know how to contact me) and we can talk about any of our differences, political or otherwise, in person.

If you’re not willing to do that, then go onanate yet again, twerp.

    respectfully, Grant Lamothe
