The Millrose Games 4×4 record-setters from Greater Philly TC
Dr. Cheryl Bellaire shares this great shot of her Greater Philadelphia TC team, which set an American Club record in the W50 4X400 at last Friday’s Millrose Games. Alison Suckling, Joan Affleck, Wendi Glassman and Cheryl ran 4:59.41, beating the Atlanta TC time of 5:02.25 set in 2008. Splits were Alison (73.9), Joan (76.9), Wendi (79.2) and Cheryl (69.4). What a gorgeous quartet! (And they’re getting used to the team shot drill. They combined last June for an outdoor 4×8 record.)

Alison, Joan, Wendy, and Cheryl, Congratulations on your American Club record. It is a fine achievement on the Madison Square Garden track. You are raising the barrier for what teams of 50+ American women can achieve, and deserve recognition.
