Another M55 world record for Bill Collins

This just in from USATF’s Glen McMicken in Texas: “Bill Collins set another M55-59 WR last night in Houston — 23.36 for 200m, with a 0.0 wind. Looked incredibly quick on the curve and actually shut it down a bit in the final 10m. Looks like he is ready for Charlotte!” That nips the listed WMA world age-group record of 23.37 By Britain’s Ron Taylor in 1990 — the oldest 200 record on the WMA books.

It was a pleasure to watch Bill break the 200 record on Friday night. It was hot, there was no wind, and he shut it down, actually at about the 180 meter mark. Great effort Bill!
